Happy St. Patrick's Day to all the Irish. That includes everyone, since everybody is a wee bit Irish on March 17th!

To everyone:
May the sun always shine warm on your face, may the road always be smooth and rise to meet you, as you slide down the banister of life, may the splinters never point in the wrong direction, and may you be in heaven an hour before the devil knows you're dead.
My Uncle, from County Cork, would have said it all in Gaelic but this will have to do.
Irish blessings to all.

I'm not kissing the crocodile but I'll kiss the rest of you (not the zombie squirrels). Have a fun day! We'll be devouring a corned beef the size of your head...and possibly (haha, "possibly") beer. Not green beer. I don't trust that stuff...

My favorite thing to say on St. Patrick's Day is this:

"If I didn't look so horrible in it, I would wear orange."

The looks I get are quizzical at best. Then comes the explanation in a nutshell when I am asked why I would wear orange instead of green.

"I am Irish, but I am not Catholic."

Then, as the day comes, I don the green, don't ya know. As I said, I look God-awful in orange. :)

So will I be wearing green? Yea. I be wearing the green today.

Happy St. Paddy's Day to every one of Irish descent or honorary/temporary Irish folk. *raises a mug of beer* I don't do green beer either, Kally.

Yeah, my ex's family was protestant Irish. His mother wore orange, too. They do it because it's on the opposite side of the color spectrum from green.

*looks down*

I am, too, actually, but it wasn't on purpose. Orange and i just get along. I was raised Catholic (I'm not anymore) but there's not a drop of Irish blood in my veins...except today ;) Cheers!
