The multi-author event (for us locals) is part of the promotional for KABAM! (Kingman Area Books Are Magic), which is coming up on May 19th! I'll be manning a booth at the festival itself for my writers' group, too ;)

I bought a little stand for it, for this and other events (Wal-Mart special, $0.99, haha)

Very nicely. I have a few book holders I use for book signings and I put them at varying heights. Using a stack of books underneath the stand can help make some pretty nice displays. The more copies you show, the more it looks like a bestseller table ;)

Congrats on selling two books. I have heard statistics on this. If an author, even a well-known one, sells between 5 and 10 books at a book signing, s/he is being quite successful. Since you split the presence with three other authors, that would be 2.5 books each at the minimum. You did good. I haven't found statistics that would set out the actual amount of sales when the presenting is done by four authors, so I just guessed, but I would venture to say that that's pretty close.
